Dune: Spice Wars Has A Multiplayer Mode

Now is a great time to lure friends in with the promise of spice and then see who the desert takes first.

The strategy game Dune: Spice Wars from the French indie studio Shiro Games has finally received a multiplayer mode. Players can now team up in groups to participate in 2v2 matches or face each other in a session of up to four players.

If four is not reached, free places can be given to AI by setting the difficulty from the easiest to insane. Each session is highly customizable to the player’s preferences, including map size, worm and sandstorm activity.

In addition to multiplayer, the update has redesigned tech trees with a focus on inter-faction synergy, as well as adding new political resolutions, events, regions, and a number of other innovations.

To celebrate the release of the first major update from the Early Access roadmap, Dune: Spice Wars is on sale on Steam with a 20% discount.
