MediaTek introduced Dimensity 9200+: An Overclocked Version Of The Flagship Mobile Chip Dimensity 9200

MediaTek, as promised, held an event where it presented its new mobile processor Dimensity 9200+.

Specifications MediaTek Dimensity 9200+:

• Processor: 8 cores (1 × Cortex-X3 (3.35GHz), 3 × Cortex-A715 (3GHz), 4 × Cortex-A510 (2GHz);
• Graphics: ARM Immortalis G715 ISP  : Supports displays with FullHD+ and 240Hz or WHQD and 144Hz;  
• Memory: LPDDR5X Modem and connectivity: Sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G up to 7.9Gbps, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3 
• AI: APU 690 (6th generation).

Compared to the Dimensity 9200, only the increase in the frequencies of the processor cores is noticeable. MediaTek also talks about a 17% improvement in GPU performance. MediaTek notes that the first Dimensity 9200+ devices will hit the market at the end of May.
