Logitech Unveils Mobi Fold: A Foldable Wireless Mouse

Logitech has introduced the Mobi Fold wireless mouse, which folds to reduce its size for transport. The folding process replaces the power button: the mouse turns on when opened and turns off when folded.

The Logitech Mobi Fold resembles a folding phone. More than half of the mouse’s body is coated with a non-slip silicone coating, including the hinge, which, according to the manufacturer, lasts up to 15 years with daily use. The built-in battery is removable—apparently thanks to new EU regulations. The battery supports fast charging via a USB Type-C port—just one minute provides up to 22 hours of battery life, and a fully charged battery lasts up to a month.

The Logitech Mobi Fold measures 33 x 57 x 122 mm (1.33 x 2.27 x 4.75 in) when unfolded and 21 x 57 x 66 mm (0.83 x 2.27 x 2.65 in) when folded; it weighs 79 g (0.79 oz). The underside of the mouse houses a device switch button, along with a 4K DPI optical sensor. The top side houses a left and right mouse button, with a touchpad between them that replaces the scroll wheel. Notably, the top and bottom sections of the touchpad also function as clickable buttons, which can be configured in the Logi Options Plus app.

The model is available in two versions. The consumer version costs $79.99. The business version is priced at $89.99 and features IT monitoring integration via the Logitech Sync service.
