Lamborghini Lanzador Concept (2023)
Lamborghini unveiled the Lanzador Concept at Monterey Car Week 2023, a concrete vision for the future of the all-electric Lamborghini 4 Series. The Lanzador Concept is a high-clearance 2+2-seat GT featuring clear, concise and technical shapes, a completely new concept in terms of performance and an unparalleled on-board experience, staying true to Lamborghini’s unmistakable DNA and offering the best in its class sportiness and driving pleasure.
The Lamborghini E_X is an all-electric single-seater supercar. Its design is inspired by fighter jets, race cars and the masterpieces of Marcello Gandini, the designer who defined the brand’s iconic models.
The car catches the eye with a simple and concise design, which is devoid of not only frills, but, surprisingly, the usual windows and doors. The effect of the absence of glasses creates a perforated film in body color. It does not prevent the driver in the cabin from looking at the road, but he himself can be seen through it.
The Lanzador is equipped with powerful electric motors on each axle with a peak output of more than one megawatt. All-wheel drive with electronic torque on the rear axle for improved cornering. Lamborghini says it’s all powered by a “next-generation high-performance battery” and provides great range, but doesn’t announce actual mileage on a single charge. The company also says that the car’s aerodynamic design should further increase actual mileage.
Lamborghini says this car is not just “a whim of designers and engineers” and is a “concrete preview” of production vehicles that will begin production in 2028.
