iOS 18 To Bring The Biggest Update In iPhone History
The upcoming iPhone operating system will potentially be the biggest software update in Apple’s history. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company has huge plans for iOS 18.
According to Gurman, iOS 18 will bring with it significant updates for the Siri voice assistant through the use of artificial intelligence technologies, including generative algorithms. He also noted that Apple was exploring the possibility of integrating AI algorithms into other applications, including Apple Music, Pages, Keynote and Xcode.
Last November, Apple announced that the iMessage app on iOS would support the cross-platform RCS messaging standard in 2024. Based on this, it is highly likely that RCS support will be implemented in iOS 18. This will lead to a number of improvements in terms of iMessage messaging between iPhone and Android devices. We are talking about the possibility of sharing photos and videos in high resolution, sending audio messages, the appearance of a typing indicator, etc.
In the meantime, Apple is preparing for a March presentation, at which they will show us six new devices. Among them is the iPad Pro, which will receive the largest upgrade in the last 5 years, but the price will also increase significantly.
