Image Generation Is Now Free In ChatGPT

OpenAI has announced a new feature in its ChatGPT service. Now, free users will be able to create up to two images per day using the DALL-E 3 model. The change is part of the company’s strategy to expand the functionality of its products.

Now you can write to ChatGPT “draw…”, and the neural network will send you an image in a couple of seconds. It is noted that the neural network understands requests in Russian very well. The output is square images with a resolution of 1024×1024 pixels.

But there is one limitation. You can only generate 2 images per day for free. Then you need a Plus subscription or wait 24 hours.

At the launch in 2023, the option to create AI images in ChatGPT based on DALL-E 3 was available exclusively to premium subscribers.

OpenAI also made several other important announcements. The company released a safety assessment of its GPT-4o model and added a new member to its board of directors.
