Hyundai Showed Genesis X Convertible: The Concept Of The Electric Convertible Of The Future

Hyundai-owned brand Genesis has unveiled a third electric vehicle concept that reflects what future auto divisions will be like.  In addition to the previously announced X Concept coupe and X Speedium Coupe fastback, the X Convertible was shown to the general public at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The concept received a similar architecture and electric powertrain to these models, but it uses a folding hardtop. The concept lacks extra bulging fenders and an aggressive front end, instead of them – a simplified design and long lines.

All this is complemented by a short front lip, triangular headlights and dual taillights from X Speedium. The concept has a panoramic roof that allows you to admire the stars.

The interior of the concept includes a dashboard screen that curves across and down to the right armrest. The electric car uses recycled wool fabrics and leather seats, while Giwa Navy and Dancheong Orange interior colors are “partly inspired by traditional Korean rooftop architecture.”

Though Genesis did not disclose any technical details.
