Ford Mustang Mach-E After The Update Fell In Price And Increased Range

Ford has slashed the cost of its popular Mustang Mach-E electric crossover in the US. This is the second reduction in the price of the car since the beginning of this year, but now it is accompanied by an improvement in performance.

This combination of upgrades cost the EV a switch to base LFP batteries, with prices starting at $42,995 for the rear-wheel-drive version of the crossover today. The power reserve has grown by 42 km to 400 km, and the all-wheel drive version for $45,995 can cover no more than 362 km without recharging. Switching to iron phosphate (LFP) batteries reduced the cost of the battery and increased its life, but the car must have become heavier, and in cold weather such a battery loses charge faster. Ford openly recommends that buyers in regions with cold winters pay an extra $7,000 for an NCM battery. The most expensive version of the crossover costs $59,995 in the base version.

However, Ford raised the cost of the BlueCruise 1.2 autopilot by $200 to $2,100 .This price already includes a 3-year subscription.
