First Look At Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5

Samsung Electronics has finally officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable smartphone. Among the main advantages of the smartphone, the manufacturer highlights the elegant design, the new Flex Hinge hinge, high performance, as well as “incredible camera capabilities.”

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 retains a 6.7-inch main OLED display with support for a resolution of 2640 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The external display has increased to 3.4 inches (the previous generation model had a 1.9-inch external screen). The compact Super AMOLED panel supports a resolution of 748×720 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is used to protect against mechanical damage.

The hardware basis of the novelty was the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 microprocessor customized for Samsung – its frequency was increased to 3.36 GHz. The Adreno 740 accelerator is responsible for graphics processing. The configuration is complemented by 8 GB of RAM and a 256 or 512 GB drive. Autonomous operation is provided by a 3700 mAh battery with support for 25 W wired charging, 15 W wireless and 4.5 W reverse wireless.

The dual main camera combines a 12-megapixel sensor (f / 1.8) with support for optical stabilization and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module (f / 2.2). It supports 4K video at up to 60 fps and 1080p at up to 240 fps. The selfie camera is made on the basis of a 10-megapixel sensor (f2.2), which allows you to shoot 4K video at 30 frames per second.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is available for pre-order from July 26, and will be available in stores from August 11.
