Electric Audi E-775 Unveiled
The presentation of the new brand created by Audi together with the Chinese concern SAIC took place in Shanghai the day before. At the same time, a concept was presented, which can be used to form the first idea of what the “electrics” of the German-Chinese development will be like.
The Audi E concept has a low-slung station wagon format. The dimensions of the car are 4870 × 1990 × 1460 mm with a wheelbase of 2950 mm. The car is equipped with two electric motors – one on the front and rear axles; together they develop a power of 570 kW (775 hp) and a torque of 800 N m. This allows the car to accelerate to 100 km / h in 3.6 s. The battery with a capacity of 100 kW h provides the Audi E with a range of 700 km according to Chinese CLTC standards, and an operating voltage of 800 V – 370 km of range in 10 minutes of charging. There is a driver assistance system that works on the highway, in urban conditions and offers autonomous parking.
The main decorative elements at the front and rear are closed LED lines; the front also houses sensors for the autopilot. The entire width of the dashboard is occupied by displays – the two outer ones replace the side mirrors; under the screens is a touch panel for navigating the menu. The software platform uses a facial recognition system and a voice assistant with artificial intelligence. Additional interior decorations include white fabric, light wood, silver trim and purple-tinted lighting.
The release of two more models on the ADP platform has also been announced, which will appear after the station wagon based on the AUDI E. The dates of their debut have not yet been specified.
