CES 2023: BMW Reveals Talking Concept Car With Color Change Option
BMW unveiled the i Vision Dee concept car at CES in Las Vegas. The company has not yet announced the technical characteristics of the novelty: the futuristic sedan is designed to demonstrate the latest BMW digital technologies.
Dee is a futuristic mid-size sedan with a new signature design style. The name “D” stands for Digital Emotional Experience and that’s exactly what it aims to do – to create an even stronger connection between people and their cars in the future.
For now, it’s just a concept. In reality, there is no such machine. It is planned to be created by 2025, the German car manufacturer announced during the CES 2023 exhibition, which started on January 5 in Las Vegas.
It is known that the BMW i Vision Dee will receive a minimalistic design, made outside and inside in shades of gray. But color lovers need not worry: the chameleon sedan is able to completely transform its color or change it in some parts at the command of the owner. A total of 32 different color options will be available.
Other unusual options include the ability to project a digital avatar and various elements of virtual reality, a giant display instead of the usual windshield, the driver will see additional information about the environment on it, and support for voice control. The latter will allow the car to communicate with passengers, answer questions and ask them on their own.
