BMW Announced Introduced Three New Electric Vehicles
BMW has unveiled three new electric cars i4 xDrive40, 750e xDrive, and i7 eDrive50, which will be part of the automaker’s summer lineup.
i4 xDrive 40, an electric car with all-wheel drive, that is, with engines on all wheels. It has 396 horsepower and can travel about 500 km on a single battery charge when using standard 18-inch tires. In this case, customers can optionally choose 19-inch tires, but the mileage is reduced to approximately 450 km. The vehicle accelerates from zero to 10 km per hour in 5 seconds. The cost without shipping will be $61,600, plus $995 shipping.
i7 eDrive50, rear wheel drive electric vehicle, or single GEN5 electric motor. The latter is characterized as the Technology that BMW uses for its electric motors. It has a power of 449 horsepower. BMW has not yet revealed how far it can go on a single battery charge and how fast it can accelerate. Its price, excluding shipping fees, is $105,700
750e xDrive, a hybrid car that runs on both electricity and gasoline. It has a 308 horsepower six-cylinder internal combustion engine and a 194 horsepower electric motor. Together they give 483 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. It can travel about 56 km on electricity alone. The cost is 107 thousand dollars.
