TIDAL Live Is Finally Ready For Prime Time
After testing, the Tidal DJ feature is officially available. Now called Live, the option allows HiFi and HiFi Plus subscribers to share what they play in real time with other paying members. Once launched, you just need to share the links with others who want to tune in.
Live lets you listen to an album in groups of any size, or share the same music while traveling or during a special event. In addition to allowing TIDAL users to share music with others, the new feature also makes it easier to find and track music curators.
Tidal uses this to promote itself and the artists. Musicians like Alesso, Aluna and Diplo are playing live in the US, UK, Brazil, Germany and Poland, with Tidal experts playing throughout the week.
Live is now available on Android and iOS and works with over 100 million tracks. Payments start at $10 per month. Please note that all tracks published via Live will be played in normal AAC quality until high resolution or lossless quality is available. You must also listen to DJs in the country where you have registered.
