Asus Released The World’s 1st OLED Monitor With A Glossy Glare-Free Screen
Taiwanese computer manufacturer Asus has beaten LG to the punch and released the world’s first gaming monitor with fast switching between two picture modes. The model is called Asus ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP.
The new product supports a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG uses a 3rd generation 10-bit WOLED panel that delivers 20% brighter images and sharper text than the previous generation. In addition, the display has low levels of blur.
The display of the new product claims a high response speed of 0.3 ms (GtG), 99 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, 135 percent sRGB, color accuracy Delta E <2 and DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, as well as the ability to display content in HDR10 format. The monitor’s specifications also include compatibility with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium image synchronization technologies, as well as anti-flicker technology.
The monitor is already available in China, where it is offered for 4999 $619.
