Asus Released Compact Ascent QN10 Mini-PC

Asus has officially announced the Ascent QN10 mini-PC, which it had showcased earlier this year. The company calls it the first mini-PC with an NPU delivering 80 TOPS of performance.
The Ascent QN10 is powered by the 18-core Snapdragon X2 Elite processor, featuring third-generation Oryon cores and integrated Adreno X2-90 graphics. The built-in Qualcomm Hexagon NPU delivers up to 80 TOPS of performance in INT8 operations, exceeding Microsoft’s requirements for Copilot+ PCs.
The hardware components are housed in a chassis measuring 130 × 130 × 40 mm, with a volume of less than 0.7 liters and a weight of 620 grams. The system supports up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X-9600 RAM, while the storage subsystem includes one PCIe 5.0 M.2 2280 slot and an additional PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot. Total storage capacity can reach 4 TB.
The Ascent QN10 features three USB4 Type-C ports (40 Gbps), three USB Type-A ports (10 Gbps), one USB 2.0 Type-A port, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 2.5 Gbps network interface. Wireless connectivity options include support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0. Asus states that the Ascent QN10 supports the simultaneous connection of up to four 4K displays.
A computer that is both this powerful and this compact certainly cannot be classified as a budget model, and the prices speak for themselves. The base version, featuring 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB drive, will set a potential buyer back a hefty $1,349.99. The price for the 32 GB/1 TB configuration has not yet been announced.
