Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR Lets You Play As 3 Legendary Assassins
Ubisoft has revealed the first details about Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR. “Assassin’s Creed Nexus will push the boundaries of VR and allow you to become an assassin,” said Clement Dagonno, community manager at Ubisoft Montreal, during a demo on Monday.
A new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Nexus was revealed during Ubisoft Forward 2023, which confirmed that the game will be set in first-person and will allow players to jump, sneak and kill across multiple historical landscapes as three of their favorite assassins. The trio includes Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the Italian renaissance hero from Assassin’s Creed 2 and its spin-offs; Connor Kenway/Ratonhacke: Tone, a cunning assassin who fought during the American Revolution in Assassin’s Creed 3, and Cassandra, who was one of two playable characters in the ancient Greek Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Following the trailer, Ubisoft Montreal community developer Clement Dagonno took the stage at Ubisoft Forward 2023 to reveal how Assassin’s Creed Nexus will take virtual reality to the next level and allow players to experience the power of classic Assassin’s Creed – stealth and parkour – from the point of view of these legendary warriors. He also revealed that the Nexus will be available on Meta Quest VR headsets this holiday season.
