Apple’s First M3 Macs Could Appear In October
The first Apple computers with the M3 processor may appear in October 2023. This was reported by Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.
Journalist Mark Gurman says that after the annual iPhone launch in September, “another launch is coming.” It is noted that the new line of Mac computers is likely to be in the spotlight, no matter what Apple has planned.
The Apple M3 will be the company’s first chip to be manufactured using the 3nm process. The new technical process will improve the performance and energy efficiency of devices.
In March of this year, Mark Gurman wrote that Apple is preparing to release the next generation iMac, which will have a 24-inch screen and will be based on the new M-series chip.
Later it became known that the company began testing next-generation computers with M3 processors, testing them using third-party programs. one test version has 12 processor cores, 18 graphics cores and 36 gigabytes of memory. The CPU is made up of six high-performance cores for the most intensive tasks and six energy-efficient cores for less power-demanding operations. This chip ran in the future MacBook Pro with macOS 14.0 and was considered the base version of the M3 Pro processor.
