Apple Accelerated The Development Of A Foldable iPhone And A MacBook With A Flexible Screen

Apple has accelerated the development of its first foldable devices. The portal 9to5Mac writes about this with reference to a statement for investors by Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu.

According to earlier statements by renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of TF Securities, Apple is developing a 20.3-inch MacBook laptop with a folding screen. According to Kuo, the company plans to release the device in 2027. The fact that Apple is showing interest in releasing a MacBook with a folding screen was also reported by Display Supply Chain Consultants analyst Ross Young, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and the South Korean resource The Elec. They all predict the start of production of this device in 2026–2027.

Experts note that such devices can radically change users’ perceptions of mobility and ease of use. Flexible screens will make devices more compact and easier to carry without sacrificing screen size.
