AMD Introduced The Radeon RX 7600
AMD, after a series of rumors, officially introduced the Radeon RX 7600 graphics card. The corporation said that the new piece of hardware will allow users to play the latest games at 60+ FPS at 1080p resolution at maximum settings.
The Radeon RX 7600 is based on the Navi 33 XL GPU, which has 32 RDNA 3 execution units containing 2048 stream processors. The reference GPU clock speed is 2.66 GHz. The video card received 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory with an effective frequency of 18 GHz and a 128-bit bus, which gives a bandwidth of 288 GB / s. In addition, there is 32 MB of high-speed cache Infinity Cache of the new generation.
Radeon RX 7600 will receive support for hardware acceleration of the AV1 codec. There is also support for the DisplayPort 2.1 interface, but AMD did not make the presence of such a connector mandatory, so that video cards from AMD partners can use older versions of the interface. There is also an HDMI 2.1 interface. Eight PCIe 4.0 lanes are used for connection to a PC, although the card is designed to be installed in a standard PCIe x16 slot. For additional power, there is one 8-pin connector, and the power consumption is declared at 165 watts.
The Radeon RX 7600 will be available on May 25 for $269.
