AMD Announces New Ryzen 5 5600X3D Processor for $229

AMD has given official status to the Ryzen 5 5600X3D processor with 3D V-Cache technology. Against the background of the previously released Ryzen 7 5800X3D, the novelty stands out with a smaller number of cores and reduced operating frequencies.  Support for AM4 motherboards on AMD B450, X470, A520, B550 and X570 chipsets has been announced.

The CPU lit up on the website of a large American network Micro Center. It turned out that it will generally be exclusive to this network.

“At Micro Center, we are thrilled to partner with AMD to introduce the limited edition AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D processor to our valued customers. We’re committed to delivering exceptional value to gamers, and the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D processor delivers on that commitment. It offers unrivaled gaming experience at an unbeatable price. With this exclusive offering, gamers can push the boundaries of performance and elevate their games to new heights. We are very pleased to provide this exceptional opportunity to our valued customers.”

That is the Ryzen 5 5600X3D will be exclusive to Micro Center, and secondly, it will also be released in a limited edition. While there is no clarity about the possibility of a new product outside the US, but it is quite possible that such a CPU will not be available anywhere else, except in the Micro Center. Considering the price and potential of the novelty in games, as well as remembering the rather high demand for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, this news can be called very disappointing.
