Amazon’s Annual Product Launch Marathon Takes Place On September 28th 

Amazon is holding an event next week to announce new devices, features, and services. The fully virtual event will kick off at 9AM PT / 12PM ET on September 28th.

The company promises to share “news about our latest devices, features, and Amazon services.”

There were no more hints of what Amazon might show at the event, but it’s been a long time since we’ve had the new Echo speakers, so we can look forward to some of them.

There is potentially more in the game than Echo products as Amazon is also in charge of smart home companies such as Ring and Roomba, though it’s probably too early for Amazon to announce new Roomba products.

Last year’s event also featured a new Halo fitness tracker and Astro home robot, as well as an Amazon-branded budget smart thermostat, an Amazon Glow video calling device, and a security drone. Perhaps Amazon will announce new generations of many of these products.

Amazon may also release new versions of the Echo Buds true wireless earbuds or Echo Frames smart glasses.  As the company also promises feature and service updates, we’re more likely to see new Alexa advances.  We could also see more from Amazon in the gaming space, relying on the Luna cloud service.

As usually expecting surprises when Amazon kicks off the event on Wednesday, September 28 at 9:00 AM PT.
