All Announcements From The Show Of Beautifull Games From Annapurna Interactive
Annapurna Interactive held a presentation of their games. There were also announcements of new products, and news about already known projects, and stories from the life of developers.
Announcements:
«The Lost Wild» is a juicy looking dinosaur survival horror game. You have to monitor resources, scare away scary creatures, run away from them, delve into abandoned research facilities and uncover the secret in the heart of the island.
According to the authors, the dinosaurs in The Lost Wild behave like wild animals, not like monsters. The environment allows for the setting of traps to distract pursuers, and the overall tone of the gameplay appears to be leaning towards stealth.
«Bounty Star: The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem» is a third-person action game in a western setting with huge robots. In addition to battles with other machines, you need to farm and build a base.
Debut project of Dinogod studio. The release should take place in 2023 on PC (Steam), Xbox and PlayStation.
«Flock» is a cooperative game about the joy of flying. You fly over magnificent landscapes and collect a flock of the cutest flying creatures from fish to sheep.
However, the authors insist that the resemblance to real animals is a mystery. The main thing is that they are all friendly and ready to join you if you have enough charm. In addition, you can find rare creatures, share or not share them with friends, and knit the longest scarf in the universe.
Flock does not have a release date. Platforms – PC (Steam), PlayStation and Xbox (including Game Pass).
A story about the gameplay of «Thirsty Suitors» is a quirky mix of JRPG and skateboarding sim where you have to fight exes, cook food and disappoint your parents.
Combat is turn-based and offers to exploit the enemy’s weaknesses. In the trailer, the main character enters the inner world of the former, where his ego made the character invulnerable. How to break a guy’s ego? Well, of course, call his mother so that she can bring the smart guy down to earth! But the ultimate goal is not to raze the former to the ground, but to talk through problems and restore peaceful relations.
Also Annapurna Interactive announced the conclusion of agreements for the release of new games from four indie developers.
First of all, the show announced a partnership with the Chicago studio Cardboard Computer (Kentucky Route Zero). The team’s new project will be faster, more dynamic and more fun.
Next, it became known about an agreement with the American duet Yarn Owl, who is busy with his debut game. The development is inspired by the classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
The third was the announcement from the German studio Third Shift. She is working on a solo road adventure, Forever Ago, in which an elderly Alfred drives around North America in his van and documents the entire trip.
Last but not least, the Irish studio Dreamfeel (If Found…) was presented. The events of her future game will unfold in a fantasy version of Ireland, where anthropomorphic cats live.
