NACON Announces Terminator Survival Project
Publisher Nacon and developers from Nacon Studio Milan presented a joint project as part of the July Nacon Connect broadcast, as expected, it turned out to be a survival simulator based on the Terminator movie franchise.
As part of Nacon Connect 2022, the publisher will showcase new games and peripherals for the first time. The 17 games also include two games inspired by famous action movies. RoboCop: Rogue City is slated for release in June 2023, and development on the new survival game from the Terminator franchise has just begun. The new game is being developed by Nacon studio in Milan and is said to be a huge improvement over previous Terminator games.
The action of the open world game takes place between Doomsday, when the apocalypse begins due to a nuclear attack, and the foundation of John Connor’s resistance. You are planning an original story that takes elements from the movies and can be built into those storylines. While there is no official gameplay trailer for the new Terminator game, there is a first teaser in the form of a T-800 posing itself menacingly in front of a pantry.
After the recent Terminator games didn’t get much ratings and weren’t well received by the community, there’s a big task ahead of the new Terminator game. Nacon Milan, however, has introduced a previously untapped open-world approach and wants to capture the player as part of a group of post-apocalypse survivors in a believable immersion.
