Logitech announced the Signature Comfort Plus series of peripherals, including the M850 L, M840 L, and MK880 mice. The M850 L features a soft palm rest, while the M840 L does not.
The Logitech Signature Comfort Plus M850 L mouse features rubberized sides, and its near-silent buttons are made of a somewhat fragile-feeling plastic—recycled content ranges from 49% to 77%, according to the manufacturer. Connects via Bluetooth and is supported on Windows, macOS, iPadOS, ChromeOS, Linux, and Android versions 12.0 and higher. The business version of the mouse includes a Logi Bolt USB receiver, which is not supported on Android or iPadOS. Additional buttons are configurable through the Logitech Options+ app.
The Logitech Signature Comfort Plus M850 L mouse weighs 107.9 g with an AA battery (supposed to last two years) and measures 121.8 x 74.3 x 44.2 mm. A significant drawback of the mouse is its asymmetrical design, meaning it is only suitable for right-handed users. The wrist rest is difficult to remove, but the manufacturer promises to provide instructions and spare parts.

The mouse is sold separately or bundled with the Logitech Signature Comfort Plus MK880 keyboard. It also features a palm rest, and additional function buttons are also customizable using the Logitech Options+ app. It uses a pair of AAA batteries, which the manufacturer promises will last for three years. It also features an adjustable tilt angle, locking at 0°, 4°, or 8°.

Logi Options+ and Logi Tune are used to configure the hardware. The software allows you to change control parameters and assign custom keyboard shortcuts.
