Fast And Efficient RayNeo V4 Smart Glasses Introduced

RayNeo has announced the RayNeo V4 smartglasses, replacing the previous V3 model. When designing the device, engineers focused on the core features that define the user experience and increased response speed and battery life.
The RayNeo V4’s high performance is enabled by a dual-chip architecture: the high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 and the low-power Hengxuan BES2800. AI functions have been migrated to an RTOS platform, enabling AI connectivity without the overhead inherent to Android. Wake-up time has been reduced to 0.2 seconds, and response time to voice commands has been reduced to 2.1 seconds, a 138% improvement over the RayNeo V3; image recognition takes approximately 3.7 seconds.
The RayNeo V4 features an array of four traditional microphones and one bone conduction microphone, which can be used where other microphones fail. It is powered by a “Blue Whale semi-solid-state battery” with a high-silicon anode in a steel housing—its capacity has increased by 57% compared to the previous model. In practice, this means about 47 minutes of continuous video recording, 11.5 hours of music playback, or about 949 photos—with 10% battery remaining. The charging case offers seven full charges, and 25 minutes is enough to recharge to 80%.
In collaboration with OmniVision Technologies, we developed the OG09B, a 1/2.9-inch square camera sensor that is approximately 50% larger than the IMX681 used in similar devices. The square format allows for less cropping of the frame when quickly switching from vertical to horizontal mode. The pixel size is 2.09 µm, which is well suited for low-light conditions. Features include an f/2.2 aperture, a 17mm ultra-wide-angle lens, 2.5K video recording support, and dynamic image stabilization. ArcSoft helped optimize the image processing algorithms for over 150 scenarios.
The base version of the RayNeo V4 is priced at 2,199 yuan. The sunglasses version costs 2,399 yuan. A complete kit, including the device, charging case, and related accessories, costs 2,799 yuan.
