Coinciding with the launch of the Realme 16T smartphone, the company unveiled the new Realme Watch S5 smartwatch in India. The watch features an aluminum alloy case and Panda Glass display protection. It comes in two colors, features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, and, according to the manufacturer, offers up to 20 days of battery life.
Realme’s latest smartwatch features a circular 1.43-inch AMOLED display in a case that looks unique thanks to its flat frame and strikingly designed buttons. The 11.8-millimeter-thick, 32-gram smartwatch is water-resistant to 5 ATM, making it suitable for swimming.
The circular AMOLED display offers 1,500 nits of brightness and a 60Hz refresh rate. Activating the Always-On feature keeps the display on all the time, although this reduces battery life from 16 days to just five. The display also supports Night Vision, which displays content in red. One of the three buttons on the side directly activates Google Gemini, allowing you to interact with Google’s AI chatbot right from your wrist.

The Realme Watch S5 features a heart rate and SpO2 sensor and can track sleep, stress, menstrual cycles, and 110 sports. A built-in GPS module records distance traveled while running or cycling. Compared to many more expensive smartwatches, the Realme Watch S5 lacks not only an ECG and skin temperature sensor but also an NFC chip, meaning it can’t be used for contactless payments.

The Realme Watch S5 is available in Rock Gray and Sand White. It will go on sale on June 5th at a special starting price of INR 7,499 ($80).
