Lenovo Introduced Legion Go 2

Lenovo’s new portable console is called the Legion Go 2, and it gets an OLED upgrade and redesigned controllers.
The dimensions of the Legion Go 2 without controllers are 206 x 136.7 x 22.95 mm, and with controllers – 295.6 x 136.7 x 42.25 mm. The weight of the device with controllers is about 920 grams, the weight of the controllers themselves is 210 grams.



The console received an 8.8-inch OLED display with an aspect ratio of 16:10, a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels, support for 10-point touch input, dynamic change of refresh rate from 30 to 144 Hz, 97 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and a brightness of 500 cd/m2. The screen is VESA TrueBlack 1000 certified.
The device is based on AMD processors up to Ryzen Z2 Extreme (Zen 5/5c architecture, eight cores, 16 threads, integrated AMD Radeon 890M graphics with 16 RDNA 3.5 execution units, adjustable TDP from 15 to 30 W). Which chip will be the basis of the basic version is not specified, but most likely it will be a quad-core Ryzen Z2 on The console offers up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 RAM and a PCIe 4.0 M.2 2242 solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB.



FPS mode offers high-precision gaming. It allows you to detach the right controller and place it in a special dock that uses an optical sensor and functions as a separate mouse. Ideal for shooters and work tasks.


Console Mode lets you connect two controllers together using the Legion Go’s charging connector to create a setup more like a home console gamepad.
Lenovo Legion Go 2 will go on sale in October. Prices start at $1,099. The top-of-the-line model will cost $1,479.
