2024 Lamborghini LB744 Revuelto V12 Hybrid Unveiled
In Italy, the presentation of the new Lamborghini Revuelto hybrid supercar, which became the successor to the Aventador model, took place.
Lamborghini Revuelto has retained the recognizable features of the exterior and is the fastest model of the Italian brand in history. The design of the car is inspired by aerospace technology.
In front of the supercar is an unusual optics. Y-shaped running lights wrap around the headlights and blend gracefully with the curves of the body. Many exterior details are hexagonal in shape. This is Lamborghini’s new design language and will be seen frequently on the brand’s future models.
On the sides are large air intakes for cooling the power plant and rear brakes. The recessed roof directs air directly to the engine.
Behind are the Y-shaped lights, between which are the exhaust pipes. A carbon diffuser was placed under the bumper.
In the Revuelto cabin there are three displays at once. One of them with a diagonal of 12.3 inches is occupied by a digital instrument panel. The second 8.4-inch is given to the “multimedia”, and another 9.1-inch is installed directly in front of the front passenger. The decoration uses environmentally friendly materials, including Corsa-Tex textiles and Dinamica microfiber.
While design tends to grab attention, Revuelto’s real headline is its use of plug-in hybrid power – a first for the Italian brand. We are quite familiar with the internal combustion engine, a 6.5-liter V12 similar to the Aventador, which produces 814 hp. and 725 Nm of torque with an increase in the number of revolutions up to 9500 rpm. This is the most powerful V12 in Lamborghini history.
The plug-in hybrid system uses a relatively small 3.8 kWh battery that sits between the passengers in what would traditionally be a transmission tunnel. The hybrid system includes three electric motors, two at the front axle and one at the rear, which means the car’s all-wheel drive system drives the front wheels with electricity alone. The total power of the three electric motors and the V12 is 1001 hp.
Sales of the Lamborghini Revuelto will begin in the second half of 2023. Prices have not yet been announced, but it is expected that they will be exactly above 400 thousand euros, or 33.4 million rubles at the current rate.
