Xiaomi unveiled a new concept car that will soon appear in the racing simulator Gran Turismo 7. The hypercar is part of the Vision GT program, where designers from global automakers developed models specifically for the game. Brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Ferrari have previously participated.

The Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo is a concept electric hypercar inspired by the wind. Its teardrop-shaped cabin is integrated into the body, adorned with cutouts and ducts that create aerodynamic channels throughout the car. The signature halo-shaped taillights serve as both a visual symbol and a massive air vent. Combined with innovations such as Active Wave Control and Accretion Rims, the car achieves a drag coefficient of 0.29, downforce of -1.2, and aerodynamic efficiency of 4.1 based on iterative simulation tests, achieving new heights in the balance of low drag and high downforce for electric hypercars. Inside, Xiaomi presents the “Sofa Racer” concept. The dashboard, door panels, and seats merge into a single, seamless contour, creating a cocoon-like cabin that gently envelops the driver. Equipped with intelligent features, including Xiaomi Pulse, which interacts with the driver through light and sound, this car creates an experience best described as racing on the couch. In keeping with Xiaomi’s tradition, the car is fully integrated into the “Human × Car × Home” intelligent ecosystem. By detecting the driver’s state and adapting to their mood, it transforms from a simple tool into an intuitive companion.

The full-size Xiaomi Vision GT concept will be unveiled at the 2026 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona from March 2 to 5. Other details about the new device will be revealed at that time.
