Xiaomi Released The Redmi 13 5G Smartphone

The Chinese company Xiaomi presented to the public a new inexpensive smartphone Redmi 13 5G. It continues the series after Redmi 13 4G. And although the devices are very similar on the outside, they differ internally. The hardware platform became the newest SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Accelerated Edition instead of MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra.

Redmi 13 5G runs on the Android 14 operating system with the proprietary HyperOS shell and offers 6 or 8 GB of RAM. For data storage there are 128 or 256 GB of flash memory, the volume of which can be increased up to 1 TB thanks to support for microSD memory cards. 

The device has a 6.79-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2460 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of 550 cd/m2. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

The main camera (108 and 2 MP), front camera 13 MP. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, water and dust protection (IP53), and a 5,030mAh battery with 33W charging support. 

Redmi 13 5G will be available in Hawaiian Blue, Orchid Pink and Black Diamond colors. In the configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory, the novelty is estimated at $170. The version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory was priced at $185. According to GSMArena, the smartphone is expected in India from July 12.
