Xiaomi Introduced The Flagship Xiaomi 13 Pro With Leica Cameras

The flagship Xiaomi 13 Pro made its global debut yesterday (February 25) at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. With this device, which was launched in China in December, the company is betting on a 1-inch main sensor, Leica lenses and 120W fast charging.

There are three cameras on the back of the older Xiaomi 13 Pro. The main module is built on a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 image sensor with a diagonal of 1 ″ and 1.6 micron pixels – the same used in Xiaomi 12S Ultra. It is complemented by Leica Summicron optics with f/1.9 aperture and Hyper OIS optical stabilization.

Xiaomi 13 Pro also has a telephoto module, which is built on a 50-megapixel image sensor, has a Leica lens with an f / 2.0 aperture and offers a 3x optical zoom. Interestingly, the minimum focal length is only 10 cm, and there is also optical stabilization. The third module is a wide-angle camera, also on a 50-megapixel sensor and with 14mm Leica optics with f/2.2 aperture.

The base Xiaomi 13 is equipped with a 6.36-inch AMOLED screen with a frequency of 120Hz, the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 12+512 GB of memory in the top and a 4600 mAh battery with 67W charging. Cameras: main Sony IMX800 at 50 MP + 12 MP (wide) + 10 MP (3x zoom).

For autonomy, the Xiaomi flagship is equipped with a 4820 mAh battery that can be charged in minutes using a proprietary 120 W charger. The device also supports 50W wireless charging with compatible charging pads, as well as 10W reverse charging if you want to quickly charge your headphones, for example.

The cost of Xiaomi 13 in Europe will start from 999€. For the base model Xiaomi 13 Pro, they will already ask for 1299€.

The start of sales of devices is scheduled for March 8. The regular Xiaomi 13 will be available in black, white and green body colors, while the Pro version will only be available in black and white.
