Xiaomi Introduced A New Folding Smartphone
Xiaomi has announced the second smartphone with a flexible display – the model is called Mix Fold 2, and more than a year has passed since the release of the first generation device. The company spent the past time to good use, improving the folding design.
The announced device consists of two halves connected by a hinge. When folded, the body of the device has a thickness of 11.2 millimeters, when opened – 5.4 millimeters. According to representatives of the company, the new hinge allows you to more tightly press the doors of the device to each other. The main OLED screen has an 8.02-inch diagonal with a resolution of 2016×1914 pixels, and an additional 6.56 inches with a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels.
On the back of Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is a camera from Leica. It has three lenses with a resolution of 50, 13 and 8 megapixels with proprietary Authentic and Vibrant modes. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. In early July, Xiaomi introduced the 12S Ultra phone, which also came out with a camera from Leica.
The cost of Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is 8999 yuan. The top modification with a 1 terabyte drive is priced at 11,999 yuan. The new device is intended exclusively for the domestic market.
