Xbox Allows To Complain About Insults In Voice Chat

On July 12, 2023, Microsoft made the voice chat moderation feature available to Xbox Insider members. The option became available in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

The feature is currently available to members of the Insider Program and will allow players to record 60-second video clips of in-game voice chats to submit to the Xbox Security team for review.

After that, the moderators will evaluate the user’s message received and determine if there has been a violation of the rules.  In a return notification, the player will receive a message with the results of the complaint.

The recorded fragments will be stored on the console for a day, which will allow you to send them at a convenient time. Also, players will receive a reminder about the presence of filmed, but not yet sent videos. After 24 hours, unsent videos will be automatically deleted.

About what penalties are provided for violators for insults in voice chat, Microsoft has not yet been told.
