What Will The iPhone 16 Pro Be Like?
There are about six months left before the release of new Apple phones, but the Internet has already accumulated enough rumors about the iPhone 16. Most of all, users are interested in the “firmware”, which will receive a noticeable upgrade compared to the iPhone 15 Pro.
The first change coming to the iPhone 16 Pro camera is an upgraded main lens. You definitely shouldn’t expect a resolution other than 48 MP from it, but it will receive an updated design for better shooting in low light. Apple will purchase Sony’s latest multilayer sensors, in which photodiodes and pixel transistors are divided into different layers. In older cameras, on the contrary, they are combined. This approach will make it possible to significantly enlarge the photodiodes, which capture light, while maintaining the same pixel size. According to Sony itself, the new technology allows it to capture twice as much light as older camera modules.
According to a fresh rumor, the minimum storage capacity in the iPhone Pro 16 will be 256 gigabytes. The company carried out a similar upgrade last year, when the iPhone 15 Pro Max lost the version with a 128 GB drive.
If nothing changes in Apple’s plans, the official presentation of the iPhone 16 will take place in September 2024.
