TP-Link is expanding its line of affordable Wi-Fi 7 routers with the Archer GE400 gaming router. Positioned as a budget-friendly gaming router, this new model offers dual-band connectivity, 2.5 GbE ports, and RGB lighting.
The TP-Link Archer GE400 boasts Wi-Fi 7 support with speeds up to 6.5 Gbps, thanks to six external antennas and Multi-Link Operation (MLO) technology—simultaneous operation in multiple bands—and two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
Gamers will appreciate the TP-Link Game Acceleration suite, which includes a dedicated gaming port, Gaming QoS, Mobile Game Acceleration, and Game Server Acceleration. A key feature of the device is its powerful gaming dashboard, which displays network status, performance metrics, RGB lighting settings, and information about connected devices in real time. The router’s stylish appearance is also noteworthy.
The Archer GE400 has a suggested retail price of $219.99, more than double the price of the mainstream Archer BE3600.
