The Release Date Of “Destiny 2: The Final Shape”
Bungie held a big presentation of Destiny 2, which was dedicated to the upcoming expansion The Final Shape, as well as the future of the looter shooter. It became known that the final chapter of the saga of Light and Darkness will start on February 27, 2024.
Bungie has confirmed that the Vanguard will travel to the Heart of the Traveler and fight the Witness. Inside, players will encounter both completely new locations and already familiar ones, but in a different form – for example, the Tower from the first Destiny.
The Final Shape will bring a new type of enemy to Destiny 2 that wields the energy of Thread and Stasis. In addition, the shooter will add new superpowers for the subclasses “Sun”, “Electricity” and “Void”.
The history of Destiny has been going on since the release of Destiny 1 in 2014. The Guardians have done everything from destroying gods to preventing the collapse of entire civilizations, but now there’s more at stake: The Witness threatens to end the known universe in an attempt to create the Ultimate Form in Destiny 2. The latest expansion in Destiny 2’s Light and Dark saga will serve as the ultimate conclusion Witness in The Final Shape raid, not campaign.
