The Latest Beta Of iOS 17.3 Started To Break The iPhone

Apple has released the second beta versions of iOS 17.3, iPadOS 17.3, macOS 14.3, watchOS 10.3 and tvOS 17.3. Updates are available for developers.

Owners of Apple mobile devices who decided to install preliminary versions of iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3 began to report on specialized resources and on social networks about freezes when turning on gadgets. The devices were losing functionality, and the only way to get it back was to restore the device, so Apple decided to remove the update. Once the bug is fixed, the company will release the beta version again.

Developer Guillermo Rambo has proposed a way to roll back the update to iOS 17.3 beta 1:

  • Download the iOS 17.3 beta 1 installation file (IPSW format);
  • Connect iPhone to Mac;
  • Press the volume up button, then the volume down button, then hold down the side button until recovery mode starts;
  • Use the iMazing application to restore the firmware (Reinstall iOS function);
  • iPhone will be restored to iOS 17.3 beta 1 without data loss.
