The First Mercedes-Benz EV Fast-Charging Stations Will Open This fall

Mercedes-Benz Group announced on August 28 that it plans to create a network of 2,000 charging stations by the end of 2024

The first three stations will be put into operation this autumn in Atlanta (USA), Chengdu (China) and Mannheim (Germany).

By the end of the decade, the automaker intends to bring the number of installations to 10,000.

Owners of any electric vehicles, regardless of the brand, will be able to use the stations;  devices will support different charging standards. Owners of electric cars of the German concern will receive some benefits, in particular, they will be able to reserve one or another charging station in advance.
