The ‘Final Fantasy’ Pixel Remaster Games For Switch And PS4 Arrive On April 19th
SQUARE ENIX today announced that the beloved FINAL FANTASY pixel remaster series, previously only available on Steam and mobile platforms, is launching digitally for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) console and Nintendo Switch system on April 19, 2023. The pixel remaster series, which includes titles from FINAL FANTASY I to FINAL FANTASY VI, combines all the magic of the originals with quality-of-life improvements while staying true to the retro design of these masterpieces.
Owners of the enhanced Endgames on PlayStation and Switch will be able to switch between the new and traditional versions of the soundtrack, as well as between the fresh pixel font and the default font. In addition, it will be possible to remove random skirmishes with monsters and adjust the speed of pumping heroes.
The remastered classic will be available for purchase on PlayStation and Switch digitally from April 19th. Games are sold as a set or individually. Pre-orders are now open on Nintendo consoles, with purchases made before May 25th and you will receive a pair of desktop wallpapers as a gift. If you pick up the remasters on PlayStation from April 20 to May 25, players will receive a themed avatar and background theme.
