Space Nation: MMORPG From the Director of Godzilla Will Be Released in 2024
In 2024, filmmaker Roland Emmerich and a team of veteran game developers are set to release Space Nation, a space adventure MMORPG.
Film director Roland Emmerich, who gave the world such films as Independence Day, Universal Soldier and Godzilla, as well as developers who once had a hand in the creation of World of Warcraft and Warframe, announced a franchise called Space Nation.
According to Ronald, he teamed up with some of the developers who worked on the World of Warcraft project to work on the project. At its core, Space Nation Online will be a large-scale MMORPG that will implement Web 3 technologies. At the moment, the game project has already collected more than 50 million. US dollars in the form of investments from third parties.
In the game, users will control a spaceship and go on an unknown journey filled with various storylines, mysteries and adventures. There will be three main factions in the game, which will radically differ from each other in ideologies. Also, the developers promise the presence of different alien species.
$50 million has now been invested in the creation of Space Nation. The release of short films and the series is planned after the release of the game.
