Sony Launches Cloud Gaming User Beta
Sony has launched a beta version of game streaming for PS Plus Premium subscribers, supporting resolutions up to 4K. The introduction of cloud gaming will enable PlayStation 5 owners to try out the game without having to download it first.
The selected testers received an email invitation from PlayStation expressing their excitement about the introduction of PS5 cloud streaming and thanking the testers for their help.
During the beta testing period, exclusive invitation codes are used to ensure that only invited users have access. The email also mentions that some features are subject to change prior to the official launch of cloud streaming.
Those who have already tried it say that there are four resolution options to choose from: 720p, 1080p, 1440p and 2160p, and if you uploaded your saves to the cloud, the games automatically load all your previous progress.
