Snapdragon X Elite Processor Is 21% Faster Than Apple M3 Chips

About a week after the announcement of the Snapdragon X Elite, Apple introduced the next-generation M3 series of processors. Qualcomm said it ran tests again, comparing its chip to Apple’s latest M3 processors. The manufacturer claims that Snapdragon X Elite is superior to its competitor in single-threaded performance. True, the Digital Trends note does not explain how much. At the same time, Qualcomm claims that the multi-threaded performance of the Snapdragon X Elite is 21% higher than the M3 series processor.
Independent tests will show how true this statement is. However, in a conversation with reporters, Qualcomm representatives noted that the results will certainly differ due to differences in software. “The difference will definitely be visible because they use macOS and we work with Windows. But from a hardware standpoint, the onAone thing we can control, we think our platform is good,” Sascha Segan, Qualcomm’s senior communications manager, told Digital Trends.
