Samsung Reveals AI Gauss
The South Korean corporation Samsung Electronics presented its own generative artificial intelligence model Samsung Gauss. The presentation took place at the specialized Samsung AI Forum, according to the company’s website.
Samsung Gauss is based on three models: Gauss Language for processing text queries, Gauss Image for generating and processing images, and Gauss Code for assistance in writing program code. Gauss Language is a generative neural network designed to improve work efficiency by helping you perform various tasks, including writing emails, summarizing document content, translating texts, etc. The algorithm includes several language models, which allows it to be used both in the cloud, and on the device.
A coding assistant called code.i is designed to help you with the programming process. Samsung is confident that it will allow developers to write program code faster, and the assistant’s interactive interface will provide support for a number of useful functions, such as describing code or creating test cases. As for Gauss Image, this model is designed for creating and editing images. With its help, you can easily change the image style, add new elements, and also improve the quality of low-resolution images.
“Samsung will use the phenomena, knowledge and power of artificial intelligence to improve the lives of consumers around the world,” the developers said.
