Poco will soon unveil the new Poco X8 series of smartphones, which includes the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max, positioned as the “flagship generation with high performance.”
Unlike its predecessor, the Poco X8 includes a Pro Max model with a larger screen and the most advanced features in the series. This new model is designed for gamers seeking the highest specs and extreme gaming performance. Meanwhile, the Poco X8 Pro offers the optimal balance between performance, image quality, and everyday usability, appealing to a wider user base.
According to preliminary information, the new devices will be global versions of the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max smartphones for the Chinese market. They will feature a similar design, distinguished by customizable LED rings framing the main camera lenses on the rear panel.
According to preliminary data, the base Poco X8 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC, while the Poco X8 Pro Max will feature the more powerful Dimensity 9500s platform. The higher-end model is also rumored to feature an 8,500 mAh battery, 100W charging, and IP68 protection.
