Oppo Unveils Watch X3

Oppo has unveiled the Watch X3 smartwatch. Compared to its predecessor, it features a thinner case and continuous blood glucose monitoring. The X3 is made of TC4 titanium alloy, which is used in aerospace and medical implants due to its high corrosion resistance. The watch is water-resistant to 5 ATM and IP69 certified for protection against high-pressure water jets.
The Oppo Watch X3’s case is made of TC4 titanium alloy, which is used in aerospace and medical applications. The screen is protected by sapphire crystal, and the display itself is a 1.5-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. Compared to the previous model, brightness has increased by 36%, reaching 3000 cd/m².
There are over 100 training modes for sports. There’s an integrated navigation system, using dual-band GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, and GLONASS. There’s also an eSIM (with an integrated LTE modem), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. The device’s hardware is powered by the Snapdragon W5 SoC, but Oppo hasn’t yet specified whether this is the standard version or the newer W5 Gen 2.
The case diameter is 47.4 mm, the thickness is 11.0 mm, and the weight is 43 g. Despite the more compact design, the battery remains the same capacity at 646 mAh. The company promises up to 3 days of battery life with intensive use, up to 5 days in normal mode, and up to 16 days in power saving mode. A full charge takes 75 minutes.
The Oppo Watch X3 is currently available for pre-order on Oppo’s online store in China in orange, black, and gray.
The black version comes with a standard luminescent strap, while the other two use a bamboo joint strap with metal connectors between the fluororubber segments.
This determines the price difference: the black version is priced by the manufacturer at 2,600 yuan ($374), while the other two are priced at 2,800 yuan ($403). Sales in China begin on March 20, with details about the global release to be announced later.
