OnePlus Nord 3 Unveiled With Larger Screen And 5000 mAh Battery
The Chinese company OnePlus has introduced a relatively inexpensive flagship smartphone Nord 3. The novelty offers a number of improvements over its predecessor Nord 2T.
OnePlus Nord 3 features a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and support for HDR10+ content. The screen supports a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels, has a sensor polling rate of 1000 Hz and 10-bit color depth. The screen refresh rate can be adjusted from 40Hz to 120Hz.
The main set of cameras has not changed – the main 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with optical stabilization is still supplemented by an 8-megapixel module with wide-angle optics and a 2-megapixel sensor. But the resolution of the front camera has decreased – instead of 32 megapixels, now there are only 16 megapixels.
OnePlus Nord 3 has a simpler design with flat edges and a flat back panel compared to its predecessor. The case is IP54 certified, indicating its protection against splashes and dust. A set of stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos technology is responsible for outputting high-quality sound from the device.
The novelty is based on a 4nm eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip with a clock speed of up to 3.05 GHz and a Mali-G710 MC10 graphics accelerator, which promises a noticeable increase in performance and energy efficiency compared to the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chip in Nord 2T. The smartphone offers 8 or 16 GB of RAM, as well as 128 or 256 GB of permanent memory.
The basic version for Europe was priced at 450 euros. The older model will cost 550 euros, but until July 31 it is sold at a discount of 50 euros. You can pre-order on the company’s website.
