Netflix Announced The Reality Show “Squid Game”: Will Be Released In November
Streaming service Netflix has announced the release of a new competitive series based on the super-popular show “The Squid Game”. According to the trailer, a new show called Squid Game: The Challenge will be released in November.
The video does not reveal exactly how the contestants will participate in the show, however, you can see a giant doll that was in the series in it.
The 10-episode series features 456 people competing in events inspired by the series of the same name. The winner receives a prize of $4.56 million. Netflix filmed the series in early 2023.
The Korean drama remains Netflix’s most-watched TV show of all time with over 1.6 billion hours watched as of June 2023, ahead of Stranger Things with over 1.3 billion hours. Entertainment service Netflix will invest $2.5 billion in South Korean TV series and films on the back of the success of The Squid Game.
