Netflix Adds Critically Acclaimed Games
Netflix has long sought to make headway in the gaming industry, and the latest announcement gives a glimpse of the streaming giant’s ambitions in the space.
In its year-end game roundup, Netflix announced that critically acclaimed indie adventure Kentucky Route Zero and time-loop-themed game Twelve Minutes will be available on the mobile app starting today. Kentucky Route Zero includes all five chapters, while Twelve Minutes will make its mobile debut upon launch on Xbox Game Pass in 2021. In addition, TiltingPoint’s Vikings: Valhalla and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge are due on Netflix in 2023. While the company has yet to give a specific launch date, the growing library could attract many subscribers.
