NBA 2K24 With A Crossplay Between Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5 Introduced
2K has announced that NBA 2K24 will be released on September 8, 2023 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. For the first time in the series’ 25 years of existence, owners of different platforms will be able to play against each other.
However, this only applies to happy owners of PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, on computers and outdated consoles, users will play among themselves.
Kobe Bryant will be on the cover of NBA 2K24. Bryant, who has many awards to his credit, including an 18-time All-Star, 5-time NBA champion and 2-time Finals MVP, will be featured on the cover of the Kobe Bryant Edition and Black Mamba Edition. In the US and Canada, the game will also be released in a special WNBA Edition with Sabrina Ionescu as the cover star.
The Kobe Bryant Edition of NBA 2K24, priced at $69.99 on the current generation and $59.99 on other platforms, includes the game only. Leveling up grants more bonuses, such as many in-game cosmetics and skill boosts in the $99.99 Black Mamba Edition and more features in the $149.99 25th Anniversary Edition.
