Microsoft Launches Teams Premium With OpenAI-Powered Features
Microsoft has added new features to Teams Premium based on the OpenAI GPT-3.5 language model. The new premium in Microsoft Teams gives users access to the automatic generation of notes, tasks and will help stenographer the main points of meetings.
After the conversation, participants will receive a full transcript with notes. There will also be a timeline where discussion topics are marked. Those who were mentioned during the meeting will see personal markers on the timeline, to listen to the conversation in a specific place. Most of the features are already available, some will appear in the second quarter of 2023.
There was also an “extended protection” for meetings. You can put a watermark on the recording, mark confidential information and prohibit recording video or copying text from a chat during a call. Some existing Teams features will become available only through a subscription. For example, subtitles with real-time translation.
Currently, the premium will cost $7 per month, but starting June 30, the price will become $10 per month.
